Jewish Identity
Judaism, in all its wonderful diversity, has enabled the Jewish people to remain one nation throughout thousands of years of exile, from lighting Shabbat candles and celebrating the Jewish holidays  to marking lifecycle events according to our rich tradition. While each individual, family, and community brings Judaism to life through their own unique customs, the fundamental roots of these diverse practices remains the same for all of us.
In good times and in bad, the Jewish people stand together. We pray in a minyan, eat together around a festive holiday table, celebrate life’s milestones together, and support each other through mourning and hard times.
KKL-JNF works to preserve and strengthen the unity of the Jewish people in Israel and around the world through a simultaneous respect for tradition and appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual. We offer a wide variety of activities that teach the rich heritage of our people and aim to bring the different parts of our nation together in unity.
