Often celebrated as the day on which the Jewish people received the Torah on Mount Sinai, KKL-JNF brings the holiday back to its biblical and agricultural roots through activities that reaffirm Jewish peoplehood, celebrate the abundance of the Land of Israel, and emphasize the importance of water to ancient and modern Israel.
