This 8 minute long video, which targets a Yiddish speaking audience, seeks to enlighten Orthodox Jews about the importance of the ritual washing of one’s hands performed before eating bread and the Grace After Meals blessing recited after eating bread. The music video follows a Hasidic father and his children as they try to find “mezonot” bread (bread made in a manner that does not require the ritual hand washing and Grace After Meals). When they are not able to find it and are forced to eat “hamotzi” bread that requires the performance of these rituals, they learn a valuable lesson. The story is interspersed with footage of a Hasidic singer singing in Yiddish about the importance of saying the Grace After Meals.
