Reform Zionist Thanksgiving Prayers for the State of Israel

This post presents the English and Hebrew texts of two original Thanksgiving Prayers for the State of Israel, written by Reform Zionist leaders. The first, an Al HaNissim addition to the Amida prayer and the Grace After Means based on the comparable texts for Chanukah and Purim, was written by Rabbi Joshua Weinberg, the President of ARZA: The Association of Reform Zionists of America. The second prayer was written by Rabbi Yael Karrie, Rabbi of Congregation Kol Haneshama, a center for Progressive Judaism in Jerusalem.
