Chabad Lag B’Omer Parades

In the 1950s, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, began the custom of holding a joyous parade through the streets on Lag B’Omer. These parades were meant to inspire Jewish pride and unity, especially in children. Today, Chabad organizes Lag B’Omer parades in communities around the world. This video (04:10) shows highlights from the 2019 parade in Queens, NY. To learn more about the history of this custom, click here.
