Tzippori Forest

The Tzippori Forest in the Lower Galilee is home to the 16 km long Scenic Trail, which runs along the Tziporri River and passes by many historic and archaeological sites, including the first permanent seat of the Sanhedrin after its move to the Galilee in the Talmudic period and many springs and mills.

In addition to planting 7,500 acres of trees in the forest, KKL-JNF built a picnic area, accessible nature path, and the Tzippori Field and Forest Center, which provides accommodation, recreation areas, and programming that strengthen Zionist values and a connection with the heritage and nature of northern Israel.
