Limmud FSU

JNF-KKL’s Overseas Education Division has partnered with Limmud in the educational development of the Limmud FSU project, which brings together Jewish Russian speaking adults from around the world for an annual conference, held in a different country each year. Attracting between 500-2000 participants each year, the 3-day long conference aims to cultivate Jewish identity, strengthen connection to Israel, and combat assimilation. The open and pluralistic informal educational environment is designed to encourage dynamic dialogue and the free exchange of ideas. Every hour, participants choose between 10-15 activities exploring a wide range of topics related to Jewish identity, Zionism, and diverse aspects of Israeli culture, society, and history. Each participant has the freedom to create their own personalized schedule, choosing between academic lectures, panel discussions, study sessions, exhibitions and cultural performances.
