From the website of Bar Ilan University’s Alumni, this article examines the profile and experiences of Israel’s recent wave of French immigrants. Largely fleeing France due to a rise in anti-Semitism. The educated, affluent, traditional community often remain in a “Francophone bubble” in Israel, living in predominately French neighbourhoods and sending their children to French-speaking educational institutions. However, despite challenges, many have integrated into Israeli society, contributing to Israel’s economy and culture.
