Upper Nazareth

Upper Nazareth is a predominantly Jewish community in northern Israel that overlooks the Galilean mountains and the Jezreel Valley. It was the launch city of KKL-JNF’s Houses for Excellence project, which empowers youth in Israel’s underserviced regions through education and technology. As it was often confused with the Arab city and Christian pilgrimage site of Nazareth, the city was renamed Nof HaGalil in 2019.
