The Makings of a World-Renowned Bird-Watching Site

This brief clip (1:00) describes the amazing work that KKL-JNF has done to rehabilitate and revive the now world-renowned Hula Valley. What used to be a malaria-infested swamp region is today a bustling hub of flora and fauna and one of the most prominent bird-watching sites worldwide, complete with a lake that serves to filter out all unwanted pesticides and fertilizers that would otherwise flow right into the Kinneret. The Hula region sees over 390 bird species pass through it each year, as well as unique animal species like water buffaloes and wildcats.
