Come along for the ride as the two cyclists in this clip (2:16) tackle the Ben Shemen Forest’s single-track Herzl Trail, also known as the “Blue Trail.” Located near Modi’in, the Ben Shemen Forest is a hidden gem right in the center of the country! It is also one of the oldest pieces of land owned by the KKL-JNF, initially purchased in 1907 and scrupulously maintained since. In 2011, three cycling trails were added to the forest as part of the KKL-JNF’s ongoing efforts to generate new ways to connect people to the beauty and joys of the land of Israel.
