KKL-JNF partnered with the Canadian Sephardi Federation to produce the educational content for the 2019 Sephardi Identity Congress, a conference that brought 60 young Sephardi Zionist leaders from around the world together in Montreal to discuss the future of the movement. The program included lectures and panel discussions featuring speakers from Israel, France, Spain and Canada, as well as discussion groups focusing on the unique challenges facing the Sephardi Zionist community in Israel and around the world. KKL-JNF ran educational activities that encouraged leadership, vision and action on an individual and communal level. Following the congress, the organizations have continued to collaborate in the development of new programs, including a year long leadership training course for youth in Montreal that aims to strengthen the participants’ connection to their Jewish identity and the State of Israel. To see the 2019 congress brochure, click below. Â
