KKL-JNF’s Yatir Field and Forest Center was established in the heart of the Yatir Forest, the largest planted forest in the Middle East, and the meeting point of the Judaean Desert, the Judaean Mountains, and the Negev Desert. With large tents for programs and accommodation, a camping area, a dining room, field kitchens, classrooms, an outside theater, and more, the center offers a variety of educational activities and lodging options for groups travelling from around Israel and visitors from abroad. The Foresters’ Fortress, around which the center was built, offers a magnificent view of the region from its observation balcony.
